Taking Cues From R.L. in 2012

Ralph Lauren's Purple Label aims to please the younger client who has plenty of room on their credit cards for the Spring season of 2012. Lauren's collections have always been inspiring to me, and next season's clothes can already show off what cues I will be taking from the master of menswear for the new year.

The devil is in the tailoring details, check out the flap pocket of this beautiful plaid vested suit
Lauren shows how to tell a "color story" with choosing a basic palette of black and white and making it captivating with patterns and textures.

This is, in my opinion, one of the freshest looks in suiting, monochromatic not only in color, but also in fabric. Yves Saint Laurent used to favor ties of the same material his shirts were, however having the same silk of your tie match your suit is very elegant and for the right occasion, will be stand out.
